Windsor Surgical Centre is one of the largest College of Physicians and Surgeons certified outpatient facilities for cataracts in Ontario. Windsor Surgical Centre, in partnership with Windsor Regional Hospital, has reduced cataract wait times for patients and will now have the ability to recruit more Ophthalmologists to the area. Windsor Surgical Centre was one of the few Surgical Centres in Ontario to be awarded an Independent Health Facility License. This will allow us to complete more cataract procedures, continue to reduce wait times and take on other elective procedures.

Windsor Surgical Centre is one of our eight surgical centres and was developed by Dr. Barry Emara (from our surgical centre in Burlington – Burlington Laser Eye Centre and Dr. Fouad Tayfour (from our centre in Windsor – Windsor Laser Eye Institute in partnership with Windsor Regional Hospital.
